Kalshi My Ballot Guide Pairs Ballotpedia Data With Live Election Market Odds

Know Your Ballot

Kalshi is a tech-founded company that thinks like a consumer product company. And that is a dynamic combination.

Kalshi launched My Ballot inside its Midterms Hub on October 15, pairing Ballotpedia’s verified sample ballot data with its own market prices wherever an active contract exists. Users enter an address and immediately see the contests on that ballot, from U.S. Senate and House races to state legislative seats and statewide measures, alongside the matching live odds. The feature is available on the website and mobile app through Election Day for every race with an open Kalshi market.

The company reports that more than 80% of Midterms Hub visitors never trade and instead use the hub for polling averages, fundraising figures, and past results already supplied by VoteHub. My Ballot gives those visitors a personal starting point rather than requiring them to search for races first. People checking their ballot can now view how market traders are pricing the same contests without hunting for a contract.

Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour said adding Ballotpedia’s nonpartisan data would strengthen the information product. Signed-in users also receive nearby polling locations based on the address already on file to encourage voting. The guide therefore serves both traders looking for relevant markets and visitors seeking clearer ballot information before they vote; Kalshi obviously hopes to convert visitors into traders. Smart.

How My Ballot Matches Addresses To Market Prices

The process relies on Ballotpedia’s Sample Ballot Lookup Tool, which professional editorial staff maintains. After a user enters an address, the system identifies every contest and ballot measure tied to that location. Kalshi then checks those contests against its open markets and displays a price only where a match exists, keeping the view focused while connecting the ballot list to live trading activity.

The guide also includes registration links and candidate details. Kalshi Politics summarized these elements in an X post, listing races, candidates, registration links, and polling locations inside the Midterms Hub. Traders who follow national control markets can now go directly to the specific races on their ballots, including thinner down-ballot contests the guide surfaces automatically.

This builds on the Midterms Hub Kalshi launched earlier in the year, which already combined market prices with polling averages, FEC fundraising data, and historical results. My Ballot reorganizes that material around each visitor’s personal ballot instead of sorting primarily by national prominence.

Why The Timing Matters For Midterm Trading Activity

Election markets have drawn strong attention ahead of the 2026 midterms, and the Midterms Hub has become a regular stop for tracking congressional control and individual races. My Ballot arrives as volume on those contracts continues to build in the final weeks before Election Day.

The 80% non-trading figure indicates the primary use remains informational. Still, placing a market price next to a race on a visitor’s actual ballot lowers the barrier to opening a position. Traders who previously overlooked down-ballot contests may now notice them because the guide displays the price automatically. This aims to make Kalshi a permanent hub for politics and elections for a broader range of potential future traders.

As midterm markets continue to trade, the guide gives traders a direct path from the contests they care about to the contracts that price them. It also gives non-trading visitors a clearer map of what is on the ballot and how those races are currently priced. Both groups land on the same page, which is the practical outcome Kalshi designed the feature to deliver.
