Eligibility
The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use the Site.
Prediction markets, event contracts, and related products may be restricted where you live. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
Nature of the Site
PolyPunter is a news and information publication about prediction markets and related topics, including platforms such as Polymarket, Kalshi, and PredictIt, as well as regulation, politics, sports, crypto, and economic events.
We do not operate a prediction market, exchange, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, or betting service. We do not open trading accounts, accept deposits, match orders, or settle contracts.
No advice and no brokerage
Content on the Site is for general information and education only. It is not investment, legal, tax, or betting advice.
Market prices, volumes, odds, and forecasts cited on the Site are not guarantees of future outcomes and are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any contract, security, commodity, or cryptocurrency.
Nothing on the Site is an offer or solicitation to trade. You should not make financial decisions solely on the basis of PolyPunter content. Consider your own circumstances and, if needed, consult a qualified professional.
Accounts
Some features, such as comments or newsletters, may require an account or email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details confidential.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
Acceptable use

- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy Site content except as allowed by ordinary browser use or written permission.
- Interfere with the Site’s security, servers, or other users.

If you submit comments, tips, messages, or other material (“User Content”), you retain ownership of that material. You grant PolyPunter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Site.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
User Content reflects the views of the person who posted it, not PolyPunter. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but may review, edit, or remove it.

The Site and its original content, design, logos, and compilation of materials are owned by PolyPunter or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and share links to articles for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or commercially reuse Site content without prior written permission, except as allowed by fair use or similar legal exceptions.
Trademarks of third parties, including prediction-market platforms, appear for identification and news reporting only. Their use does not imply endorsement.

Coverage of a platform, market, person, or legal proceeding is not an endorsement and does not predict any outcome.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLYPUNTER AND ITS OWNERS, STAFF, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, TRADING LOSSES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that venue, except where prohibited by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and PolyPunter regarding the Site and supersede prior agreements on that subject.
